Following the success of its first season, the rich detective is back in Flex X Cop 2 with a major upgrade. Ahn Bo-hyun returns to lead the cast, joined by Jung Eun-chae as the new team leader. They are ready to take viewers through complex cases. They also promise even more intense confrontations with criminals.
Flex X Cop 2 continues the story of Jin Yi-soo (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), a chaebol heir who turned into a detective. After completing his training at the police academy to become a full-fledged detective, he returns to the violent crimes unit with more experience, confidence, and sharper skills than ever before.
This time, he must team up with a new partner, Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae), a strict former instructor who drilled him at the police academy and has now stepped in as the new violent crimes team leader. Despite their polar-opposite working styles, the two must join forces to fight against elevated criminal threats. They must utilize intellect, teamwork, and high-level connections to chase down the truth and stop the criminals.
Ahn Bo-hyun plays Jin Yi-soo, a third-generation heir of Hansoo Group who possesses wealth, influence, and connections. After accidentally joining the crime investigation team, he decides to undergo serious training at the police academy. He officially steps up as a full-fledged detective in the violent crimes unit.
Jung Eun-chae plays Joo Hye-ra, a former anti-terrorism team leader and former police academy instructor, currently serving as the new head of the violent crimes unit. She is a top-tier detective with razor-sharp investigative instincts. Although they were once “frenemies” at the academy, once on the real battlefield, the two surprisingly complement each other perfectly as partners.
In addition to Ahn Bo-hyun’s return as a matured detective, this season welcomes Jung Eun-chae to create new chemistry as a partner who adds color and intensity to the investigations. Furthermore, almost the entire detective team from Season 1 returns to face criminals who are smarter, craftier, and more dangerous.
This return upgrades every element of the series—from the cases and action scenes to investigative methods that blend lavish resources with unorthodox tactics, which has become the beloved trademark of Flex X Cop.
