Aijing, a member of producer Lee Soo-man’s rookie girl group A2O LITE, has been swept up in an attitude controversy following earlier public debate surrounding her parents. Online communities are locked in debate over accusations that she pushed an adjacent member during a group photo session to claim her desired spot.

On October 22, posts and videos titled “Controversy Over A2O’s Aijing Repeatedly Pushing Next-Door Member to Claim Desired Spot” spread rapidly across online communities and social media.

The footage captures the members of A2O LITE standing side-by-side posing for journalists on their way to a broadcasting station schedule.

Among them, Aijing—wearing her long brown hair down paired with a beige plaid jacket and mini skirt—drew significant attention for her behavior. Aijing struck a group pose alongside other members, holding her hands above her head. However, as they aligned their poses, the distance between her and the adjacent member narrowed, and she was caught on camera moving her body and arms to adjust her position.

Critics claimed that Aijing tried to push the other member aside to take a front-and-center position. Some pointed out that her expression appeared briefly stiff when she looked toward the member next to her. As her body overlapped excessively with the adjacent member, Aijing appeared to give up, moving down to pose from a lower step on the stairs.

In response, some netizens commented, “Aijing could have just posed from the bottom of the stairs, so why did she keep trying to move up?” and “Pushing others, blocking them, and trying to make herself stand out looks a bit off.” Another netizen expressed disappointment, noting, “Whether intentional or not, it at least shows a lack of consideration.”

Conversely, others argued that criticizing Aijing based solely on a short, edited video clip was excessive. One netizen pointed out, “Isn’t it too early to judge based only on an edited broadcast clip?” Given that Aijing was born in 2013, making her just 13 years old as a newly debuted rookie, many cautioned against unwarranted personal attacks.

Meanwhile, Aijing is a member of A2O LITE, a 9-member multinational girl group newly launched by producer Lee Soo-man. Their debut track “NEON” generated massive buzz by reaching #1 on the Melon TOP100 chart within just 29 hours of release. Aijing, in particular, earned the nickname “Little BoA” for her powerful dance performance and visuals reminiscent of BoA’s early debut days.
