BTS V personally bought drinks for fans and toasted during the concert parade… ‘Mexico Episode’ becomes a hot topic

BTS’s V evoked both laughter and emotion from fans around the world by creating a series of memorable moments that revealed his down-to-earth character during the Arirang World Tour concert in Mexico City.

The first episode occurred during the second performance on the 8th (local time). In the latter part of the BTS Arirang Tour concert, there is a parade section during the ‘IDOL’ stage where the members walk around the stadium runway with dancers holding flags, interacting closely with fans.

V was captured stopping at a stall inside the concert venue at this time to buy and eat the Mexican street food “Banderilla” (a skewer). Upon spotting V holding the skewer, J-Hope and the other members noticed it one by one and burst into laughter, and the video quickly went viral on X and TikTok.
Fans burst into laughter, declaring, “He is now an official Mexican,” while the stall owner’s touched reaction to the unexpected guest also became a hot topic.
The second episode occurred during the final performance on the 10th. Again in the same parade section, V personally purchased alcohol from a nearby bar, handed it to fans in the audience, and toasted with them. His manager filmed this scene on a phone, and anticipation spread among fans that “V will soon post it on Instagram.”

@Taehyungimpact reported, “V toasted with ARMY during the parade on the final day,” while @datethv couldn’t hide their excitement, saying, “I’m going to die if this video is uploaded.” Spanish-speaking fan @vangguk20 expressed their longing, saying, “I’m so jealous.”
V captivated the hearts of fans throughout this Mexico tour. On the first day of the concert, he delivered a message he had prepared himself in Spanish, stating, “You are the reason for my life and my everything.” He also prepared a speech in Spanish when appearing on the balcony of the National Palace on the 6th, drawing cheers from 50,000 people. The Mexican fan club ‘Kim Taehyung MX’ even prepared an event to install a commemorative plaque for V at the ‘Pared de Plata’ (Silver Wall) in the Mexico City Museum. BTS successfully marked their return to Mexico after nine years by concluding all three sold-out performances at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City on the 7th, 9th, and 10th.
