A Strong New Step! 9 Members of THE BOYZ Join Hands to Continue Group Activities Under a New Agency System
This heartwarming news completely relieves fan anxiety! Members of the famous idol group THE BOYZ have officially announced their future direction. They firmly confirmed that they will continue walking together as a group.

On August 6, nine members of THE BOYZ—Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric—issued a joint statement to share the good news with fans: “We have all reached an agreement to continue group activities together as 9 members, and we have finalized the group contract for this purpose.” They added, “Currently, we are preparing for various activities under a new agency system.”
Regarding the future activity structure, individual members will sign separate contracts with agencies that best support their personal potential and solo work. However, for group activities, they intend to continue seamlessly under the name THE BOYZ through full cooperation among all parties.

The members expressed their heartfelt feelings regarding their friendship and love for their fans: “Our hearts have never changed since the beginning. All of us felt the same way—that the nine of us must stay together. Above all, we wanted to share this commitment first with the fans who have been waiting and worrying about THE BOYZ’s group activities.”
“We will do our best in our respective positions while pouring all our effort into continuing the precious moments we have created with our fans as THE BOYZ.”
Finally, the nine members left a message for their beloved fanbase: “We sincerely thank THE B (fanclub name) for your unwavering love and support. We are working hard to repay everyone with great performances. Please continue to support us.”
Earlier this year, nine members of THE BOYZ (excluding New) notified their former agency, ONE HUNDRED, of their intent to terminate their contracts due to a breach of trust. They subsequently filed an injunction to suspend the validity of their contracts. In April, the court granted a temporary injunction suspending the binding contracts between the nine members and ONE HUNDRED.

THE BOYZ (더보이즈) officially debuted in December 2017 and steadily climbed in popularity. They gained widespread recognition and high acclaim on the survival show Road to Kingdom (2020), where they won first place with impressive, perfectly synchronized performances. They later continued their momentum on Kingdom: Legendary War (2021). THE BOYZ have numerous hit songs familiar to K-pop fans, such as “REVEAL,” “The Stealer,” “THRILL RIDE,” and “MAVERICK.”
Specific operational plans and details regarding THE BOYZ’s future group activities will be revealed in due course. THE B fans, let’s send support for their strong new beginning! 🤍
