Momo has become the center of heated online debate after a fan interaction during TWICE’s world tour allegedly involved hidden sexual harassment.
The incident reportedly occurred during the group’s ongoing THIS IS FOR world tour, which has been running since last year.
A short concert clip recently spread rapidly across social media platforms. In the video, fellow TWICE member Nayeon points toward a fan in the audience before Momo looks over and notices a handwritten sign displaying the math equation:
“MOMO, 18 + 56 = ?”

At first, many fans found the moment amusing because of Momo’s confused reaction. After staring at the sign for a moment, the idol reportedly appeared to calculate the answer mentally before awkwardly shrugging and walking away without responding.
However, the atmosphere quickly changed after Korean netizens explained the alleged hidden meaning behind the numbers.
According to online discussions, the equation’s answer — 74 — is pronounced similarly to a Korean slang term carrying a sexual meaning related to ejaculation. Some Korean websites reportedly even block the number combination as filtered slang due to its association with explicit language.

After learning the alleged meaning, many fans accused the audience member of sexually harassing Momo under the guise of a joke.
Some viewers also speculated that Momo may have understood the implication herself and intentionally pretended not to know the answer in order to avoid responding publicly during the concert.
As backlash intensified online, the fan who displayed the sign reportedly issued an apology through social media. The individual claimed they simply wanted to attract Momo’s attention and did not realize the numbers carried a hidden inappropriate meaning.
The incident quickly sparked broader discussions among K-pop fans about fan behavior and boundaries during concerts, with many arguing that idols should not be placed in uncomfortable situations disguised as humor.
Meanwhile, TWICE continues actively touring globally as one of K-pop’s biggest girl groups, with the members maintaining strong popularity worldwide through concerts, music releases, and solo activities.
