The 2026 Hupu Goddess contest is drawing attention online as it brings together many of Asia’s most popular entertainment stars. Notably, veteran names such as Liu Yifei, Dilraba Dilmurat, and Gao Yuanyuan are currently being left far behind by a new generation of beauties.

According to Sohu, Hupu is one of China’s largest online forums, with a predominantly male user base. This year’s Hupu Goddess contest is in its 11th season and officially began on October 1. The preliminary round closes at 10 p.m. on October 3 China time, which is 9 p.m. the same day in Vietnam.
This year’s contest is divided into two separate categories: Real-Life Goddess and Virtual Goddess. In the Real-Life Goddess category, top Chinese stars are competing against female K-pop idols.

According to the provisional rankings, Liu Yifei currently sits in 6th place. Dilraba Dilmurat is even further down in 13th, while Gao Yuanyuan is in 15th. All three are famous beauties of the Chinese entertainment industry (C-biz), known for their outstanding looks over many years, but they are currently unable to compete with the leading group.

Meanwhile, Liu Haocun, a young actress who found success in 2026 with the drama Zhu Jue (主角), holds 4th place. Just above her is Song Yuqi, the popular idol from the group (G)I-DLE.
The most notable competition is at the top two positions. Tian Xiwei, who became a sensation with Pursuit of Jade and is preparing to return in Jia Jin Chai (嫁金钗), is in second place. However, she still trails the top-ranked contender by a considerable number of votes.

The one dominating the rankings is Karina, a member of the K-pop group aespa. Known for her beautiful face, captivating presence, and fiery figure, Karina has a large fan base. She also frequently appears in discussions about the looks of new-generation female idols.

According to the latest shared voting data, Karina has more than 82,000 votes, while Tian Xiwei has more than 66,000. Notably, Song Yuqi in third place has only about 20,000 votes.
This gap shows that Karina and Tian Xiwei are in a race of their own, far ahead of the remaining contenders. However, these are only provisional results, and the rankings could change in the coming days.
