Jeon Soyeon, the leader of the group i-dle, sparked both concern and surprise among fans by revealing a shockingly small amount of food she ate.

On the 19th, Soyeon posted a photo on her social media story without any explanation. The photo showed a meal she had prepared for an offering, seemingly while visiting a temple. While her sense of style in choosing a hip-hop version of the Heart Sutra as the background music caught attention, what truly became a hot topic was the sheer quantity of food on the plate.

Soyeon placed only about two spoonfuls of rice, a single head of broccoli, and two slices of apple on her plate. It was such an extreme amount of food that even combining the rice and side dishes left a significant amount of empty space on the plate. As she has always maintained a slender figure of 44kg and exuded an unrivaled aura, the revelation of her diet hinted at the harsh self-discipline required to maintain her “bone-thin” physique. Fans who saw the photos reacted enthusiastically, asking, “Where does her energy on stage come from eating only that?” and commenting, “It’s so light that I’m worried about her health.”

Born in 1998 and 27 years old this year, Soyeon has successfully led the group as both producer and leader of i-dle. Last year, she served as the host for Mnet’s “Unpretty Rapstar : HIP POP Princess,” proving her stable hosting skills and establishing herself as an “all-rounder” artist active in various fields.

i-dle, the group Soyeon belongs to, recently faced significant changes to its world tour schedule. According to a report by MyDaily on the 20th, it has been confirmed that the North American leg of their fourth world tour, “Syncopation,” has been completely canceled. It is reported that although they were originally scheduled to tour 10 cities across three countries—including Canada, the United States, and Mexico—for the month of August, they made this decision after reorganizing their global activity direction and considering local conditions.

Cube Entertainment, their agency, explained, “We have decided to reorganize the North and Central American tour to ensure higher-quality performances and activities.” With this, i-dle, who have confirmed their domestic comeback this coming July, will be able to meet fans while focusing on domestic activities in a more relaxed environment thanks to the cancellation of the North and Central American tour. Expectations are high for what kind of legendary performance Soyeon will showcase during this comeback, based on her rigorous self-management and reorganized schedule.
