Singer and actress BIBI jokingly questioned her younger sister Kim Nakyoung’s sincerity after the tripleS member publicly kissed her on the cheek.
BIBI and tripleS member Kim Nakyoung appeared as guests alongside sibling duo Jonathan and Patricia on the August 30 episode of JTBC’s Please Take Care of My Refrigerator.
During the show, host Kim Sung-joo brought up the viral moment from the 2024 Melon Music Awards on November 30, 2024, when Kim Nakyoung kissed BIBI on the cheek after BIBI won the Best Music Style Award.
BIBI explained, “We were both doing well at the time, so we attended various award ceremonies together. We happened to sit together and celebrate, and she told me, ‘If you win an award, I’ll kiss you.’ I thought, ‘Sure, I’d like that,’ but I think she used me. The moment went viral right after.”
She continued jokingly, “Honestly, she used me, but I also felt really proud. I thought, ‘She has become someone who knows how to look after her own interests.’”
When asked whether that had really been her intention, Kim Nakyoung openly admitted, “Exactly. I made an ambitious plan. But if I kiss you, you feel happy too.”
BIBI explained that physical affection comes naturally in their family. “Our family shows a lot of affection. Kissing is an everyday thing. We kiss each other on the cheek every single day,” she said.
Kim Nakyoung then captured everyone’s attention by saying, “I can do it right now,” before leaning over and kissing BIBI on the cheek once again.
