On July 9, T.O.P held a free fan meeting for approximately 10,000 members of his official Japanese fan community at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama. During a segment where he spoke directly with fans, an 82-year-old woman was invited on stage, surprising both T.O.P and the audience. She revealed that she had been a fan of the rapper ever since BIGBANG’s debut, prompting loud applause and cheers from the crowd.
After hearing her age, T.O.P couldn’t hide his astonishment, opening his mouth in disbelief before silently giving her a deep 90-degree bow to express his gratitude.
When the host asked how she felt after finally meeting T.O.P in person, the fan smiled brightly and replied, “I’m happy.” Asked what she liked most about him, she answered without hesitation, “Everything,” creating one of the warmest moments of the event.
When she was invited to share a message with T.O.P, the fan sincerely said, “I’m so happy that I was able to meet you.” Moved by her words, T.O.P walked over and embraced her in a heartfelt hug, drawing enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.
Taking the stage in an all-black suit, T.O.P also performed his solo track “Studio54” live, showcasing the rap skills and commanding stage presence that have defined his career. Combined with the touching encounter with his 82-year-old fan, the performance made his first fan meeting celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut an unforgettable experience for attendees.
As the event came to a close, T.O.P thanked fans for their support.
“I was really nervous before stepping onto the stage, but after seeing all of you in person, I realized how much more I want to meet you through performances,” he said. “I’ll continue to come back with even better stages in the future.”
The Yokohama event marks the beginning of T.O.P’s first Asian fan meeting tour, “T.O.P PRE-STUDIO 2026.” Additional tour dates and host cities will be announced gradually through his official channels.
