During Episode 3 of tvN’s Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip, which aired on July 11, cast members Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun, Yoo In Na, Kim Byung Chul, Lee El, and Park Kyung Hye took part in a quiz featuring some of the drama’s most memorable scenes and famous lines.
Kim Go Eun impressed everyone by perfectly reciting one of Gong Yoo’s most iconic lines from Goblin. Ironically, Gong Yoo himself couldn’t remember the entire quote because it was so long. Yoo In Na praised Kim Go Eun, saying, “She’s so smart.”
The conversation then shifted to the couple’s famous kiss scene. Yoo In Na pointed out that it had actually been filmed on one of their very first days on set, before Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun had even become close.
Kim Go Eun recalled, “We basically said, ‘Hello,’ and then filmed the kiss,” explaining that the romantic scene was shot almost immediately after they first met.
She also revealed that the production team filmed the sequence repeatedly from numerous camera angles, resulting in multiple takes. Gong Yoo added that it was “a scene that required a lot of effort.”
Yoo In Na then jokingly asked, “When you left home that morning, were you thinking, ‘I’m going to kiss someone today’?” Her unexpected question made everyone laugh, with Lee Dong Wook responding, “Who thinks like that?”
Playing along with the joke, Gong Yoo admitted with a grin, “I did. I was really happy.” Kim Go Eun also joined in, laughing as she recalled thinking, “I’m going to kiss Gong Yoo!” Wrapping up the conversation with humor, Gong Yoo replied, “I felt the same way. It was a very special scene.”
