On October 31, Lee Hi and Dok2 released the music video for their collaborative new track “KAI” through official channels. Dok2 explained, “Happy Halloween—this is a new track scheduled to be included in our joint duet album next year.”
“KAI” is a collaborative track featuring the duo’s signature attractive vocals. Dok2’s rap harmonizes seamlessly with Lee Hi’s uniquely soulful vocals, drawing immediate fan attention with the release of the music video alone.
Above all, the music video captured sweet and honest displays of affection between Lee Hi and Dok2, gripping viewers’ attention. Set against the backdrop of a picturesque beach, Lee Hi and Dok2 authentically conveyed their romantic feelings.
Lee Hi and Dok2 went for a drive and walked along the beach holding hands tightly. Lee Hi and Dok2 first formed a relationship in 2016 through the MBC variety show Infinite Challenge, specifically on the track “Like” created by Yoo Jae Suk and Dok2, which featured Lee Hi. Maintaining their connection ever since, the two went public with their romantic relationship in March by openly expressing their affection for one another.
Recently, rumors of marriage also surfaced after Dok2 was seen kneeling and serenading Lee Hi on stage during a joint performance.
