On May 8, the YouTube channel Channel 15ya uploaded a video titled “The Colony Team Boards the Yeonniverse and Chats Together.” The video featured Colony cast members Jun Ji Hyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, Ji Chang Wook, Kim Shin Rok, Shin Hyun Been, along with director Yeon Sang Ho, as they shared behind-the-scenes stories and playful conversations.
During the episode, producer Na Young Seok suggested an image game for the cast. He asked, “Who do you think would definitely survive until the very end if a zombie outbreak happened?”
While the actors each picked different people, Ji Chang Wook chose Jun Ji Hyun. When asked why, he jokingly replied, “I don’t really know. But I feel like survival and death are just part of fate.” His unexpected answer immediately made everyone burst into laughter.
He continued, “Forget intelligence or anything else — it just feels like fate. I think she would live a very long life.”
At that moment, director Yeon Sang Ho revealed an amusing behind-the-scenes detail, saying, “On set, Jun Ji Hyun actually checked our fortunes with ChatGPT quite often.”
Jun Ji Hyun explained, “There were many times when Koo Kyo Hwan, Director Yeon Sang Ho, and I were together on set. That’s when we started asking ChatGPT about our fortunes.”
Koo Kyo Hwan added another funny detail, saying, “I even told her the exact hour I was born. I normally never tell people my birth time, but I told Jun Ji Hyun mine,” drawing more laughter from everyone on set.
