The time stopped for the group NewJeans as they moved once again.

On July 23, several photos were uploaded to NewJeans’ official social media channels alongside the caption “4 Years of NewJeans” to mark their 4th debut anniversary.
Through a series of individual shots, Polaroid photos, and group pictures featuring members Minji, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein, the members—whose faces had been absent during their extended hiatus—delighted fans with their unchanging visuals.
In the group shots, the four members captured fans’ attention with their playful charms, pouting their lips and striking V-poses.
Short-form videos highlighting the unique individual appeal of the four members were also released.

Haerin took on the viral “Kkungsit Kkungsit Challenge”—a cute, rhythmic bobbing dance movement that is currently trending among Gen Z—set to Japanese hip-hop duo Halcali’s track “Otsukare SUMMER” (often used for “You Did a Great Summer” trends). Her signature fluid dance lines stood out effortlessly.
Minji showcased a chic yet confident walk to the classic groove of “Get Down On It.” Her relaxed performance—complete with hair flips and playful spins—highlighted her sharp side profile and charismatic visual.
Meanwhile, Hanni flashed a bright smile accompanied by a short guitar performance, and Hyein leaned toward the camera to share her heartfelt feelings for their fandom with the phrase “FROM LOVING BUNNIES.”
This flood of new posts follows the initial 4th anniversary content released the previous day (July 22), causing fans to speculate whether these rapid uploads are teasers for an upcoming return.

NewJeans had previously paused activities during ongoing legal disputes with HYBE and ADOR. This fresh wave of media marks their first official content drop in approximately 1 year and 4 months, quickly becoming a trending topic online.
The updates drew special attention because they prominently feature Minji—whose return status was previously under discussion—alongside Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein, who have already confirmed their return to ADOR. However, ADOR maintained a cautious stance, stating, “We plan to announce specific activity plans and schedules for NewJeans once discussions with the members are fully finalized.”
Nevertheless, seeing the group reappear as a four-member unit after so long has sparked massive excitement.
Meanwhile, Danielle departed from the team following a notice of exclusive contract termination from ADOR and is currently involved in a legal dispute with the agency regarding contract obligations.
