i-dle‘s Jeon Soyeon and RESCENE‘s Minami shared a heartwarming moment on stage, completing a special teacher-student bond formed five years ago.

On the 12th, a video titled “Walking Confidently Anywhere with Senior Soyeon” was uploaded to RESCENE’s official social media channels. The released clip features i-dle’s Jeon Soyeon and RESCENE’s Minami executing a synchronized dance challenge together.
The collaboration instantly drew massive attention online due to their history. Jeon Soyeon and Minami first crossed paths during the 2021 MBC global girl group audition survival program My Teenage Girl. At the time, Minami competed as a student trainee, while Jeon Soyeon served as an influential trainer and homeroom mentor.
During the survival show, the two shared a meaningful promise to “definitely meet again on stage”. Seeing this wish become a reality years later added an immense emotional weight to their reunion, which took place backstage and on the interview stage of SBS’s Inkigayo.

Netizens who watched the dance challenge reacted enthusiastically, leaving comments such as, “This is incredibly moving,” “I absolutely love this combination,” “An iconic reunion between a teacher and her student,” “This is a cinematic narrative come to life,” and “Seeing Minami succeed brings tears to my eyes.”
Meanwhile, RESCENE recently achieved a spectacular chart reversal, climbing to the top spots with their viral hit “Love Attack”. The achievement earned them praise as the latest “Miracle of a Small-to-Medium Agency.” Fueled by this momentum, RESCENE released a special remake single titled “Pretty Girl” on July 8. Originally released in 2008 as the title track of KARA’s second mini-album, “Pretty Girl” has been reinterpreted by RESCENE to bring back its signature bright, confident energy to a new generation of listeners.
