Actress Baek Jin Hee recently opened up about her love life, sharing candid reflections on her past dating habits and her desire to experience romance again.
On July 1, she appeared as a guest on the popular YouTube channel Jinny Is Back, where she participated in a romantic “Ideal Type World Cup” game. Before the game even began, she smiled warmly and confessed, “I want to feel butterflies again.”
Throughout the segment, Baek Jin Hee reminisced about the initial excitement of falling in love. When asked to choose between receiving a sweet message saying, “This reminded me of you,” or accidentally touching hands while watching a movie, she replied wistfully, “That reminds me of the old days. I miss those feelings.”
She also revealed that she likes partners who show a little jealousy. Given the choice between hearing a slightly jealous comment or receiving a secretly taken candid photo, Baek Jin Hee chose the former, explaining that jealousy reassures her that the other person genuinely likes her.
Reflecting on her dating habits, Baek Jin Hee confessed that she has always been the type to accommodate her partner’s needs without hesitation. “Once I start dating, I tend to accommodate everything. That’s probably why they all left. I’m not good at playing hard to get. I gave them everything. I was foolish.” Her candid confession resonated with many viewers, who praised her honesty about the challenges of maintaining healthy relationship boundaries.
Baek Jin Hee’s remarks also drew renewed attention to her past relationship with actor Yoon Hyun Min. The two met while filming the 2016 MBC drama My Daughter, Geum Sa Wol and began dating shortly after the series concluded. They remained one of Korea’s well-known celebrity couples for several years before officially announcing their breakup in 2023.
Although Baek Jin Hee did not mention Yoon Hyun Min directly in the interview, her reflections on love and relationships have sparked interest among fans, many of whom hope the actress finds happiness in the future.
