While actresses Kim Tae Hee and Lee Min Jung are causing a stir online with fashion-disaster styling that failed to highlight their elegant and seductive beauty, Ahn Eun Jin contrastingly drew praise for her goddess-like visual at the same event.
The three actresses recently attended a high jewelry brand’s 90th anniversary celebration in succession, with vivid footage captured on the official K-STAR NEWS account. However, the fashion choices of the three stars on the channel received starkly opposite reviews.
On October 22, Kim Tae Hee showcased a soft cream-toned long dress. However, the tight corset design on her upper body created a suffocating impression, and despite her slim frame, back and shoulder skin pressed against the gown, leading to comments that she looked gainfully bulked. On top of that, her signature pose—staring wide-eyed with her hand resting under her chin—looked unnatural, adding to the overall feeling that the styling was overdone.
Lee Min Jung, who attended the same event on October 23, also received plenty of harsh criticism for her outfit. Lee Min Jung similarly wore a white tube-top gown, but its floor-sweeping length and platform heels captured on camera elicited responses such as, “I thought she was wrapped in a curtain,” and “What is up with that skirt length?” In particular, the back of the dress—which was assumed to be a standard one-piece gown—stole the spotlight because it featured a zippered corset structure, doubling the sense of tightness. Due to the overly tight dress, Lee Min Jung’s back skin was also relatively highlighted, leaving much to be desired.
On the other hand, Ahn Eun Jin emerged as the fashion winner of the event. Ahn Eun Jin also wore an elegant long dress, but instead of a corset design, her gown featured a naturally flowing line that showcased a clean silhouette. The subtle pink hue highlighted her soft femininity, while a dazzling necklace and bracelet combination completed a luxurious look.
Fans who saw the event fashion of the three actresses reacted with comments such as, “Lee Min Jung and Kim Tae Hee’s faces were wasted,” “Their faces are divine, but their styling is tacky,” “Their stylists need to come out and reflect,” “You can’t help seeing age, but they still maintain themselves well,” and “Ahn Eun Jin is the clear winner.”
