Back in 2020, Jeongyeon was diagnosed with Cushing syndrome caused by steroid side effects during treatment for a neck disc injury. At the time, she experienced sudden weight gain, which drew public attention. Despite her health struggles, she continued promoting as a member of TWICE. Recently, fans also praised her successful weight loss and healthier appearance.

During the preview, Jeongyeon became emotional while talking about her sister. She tearfully said, “I’m so happy that my sister is doing so well and receiving so much love. Thank you for being my older sister, and I’m sorry too.”

After hearing Jeongyeon’s heartfelt confession, Gong Seung Yeon also teared up, saying, “I never expected her to say something like this.”

Host Yoo Jae Suk then mentioned that Gong Seung Yeon once suggested they live together when Jeongyeon temporarily halted activities due to her worsening health condition.

Gong Seung Yeon explained, “Jeongyeon was struggling so much at the time, and I felt anxious leaving her alone. Even when she lived in the dorm, I would constantly visit her or bring her to my house because I wanted to stay by her side. That’s why I asked her to live with me. I’m so thankful that she overcame everything.”
