According to reports on March 19, multiple artists including VIVIZ, Lee Mujin, and BE’O have informed Big Planet Made Entertainment of their intention to terminate exclusive contracts. This follows earlier exits by Taemin and the group THE BOYZ, signaling a growing crisis within the company.
The reported reason behind the termination notices is serious contract violations and a breakdown of trust between the artists and management. Industry insiders point to the agency’s worsening financial situation as a key factor.

Big Planet Made is reportedly in a state of complete capital impairment, unable to settle payments to artists since Q3 last year and accumulating tens of billions of won in unpaid fees to partners and staff. These issues have made it increasingly difficult for the company to support album production and artist activities.
Sources claim that VIVIZ, Lee Mujin, and BE’O attempted to seek explanations from the company’s leadership but ultimately failed to restore trust. Although the agency has not accepted the termination notices yet, experts suggest that given the circumstances, contract termination is likely to be approved without major legal disputes.

In an official statement, Big Planet Made Entertainment said, “A final conclusion regarding the termination of exclusive contracts for VIVIZ, Lee Mujin, and BE’O has not been reached. We are doing our utmost to ensure the artists can continue their activities normally.” However, the statement has done little to quell concerns as more artists continue to distance themselves from the label.
As Big Planet Made clarified that no final decision has been made regarding these contracts, all eyes are now on the future steps of both the agency and the artists. The simultaneous departure of multiple high-profile artists is being described as “unprecedented” in the K-pop industry. What began with Taemin’s exit has now escalated into a broader collapse of trust, raising questions about the agency’s future and the fate of its remaining roster.
