Consequently, pausing promotions for her new single due to a car accident is unfortunate timing. Fans are sending warm messages of support, wishing Kwon Eunbi a speedy recovery and looking forward to her return to the stage in good health.

Kwon Eunbi debuted in 1995 and served as the leader of IZ*ONE from 2018 to 2021. Following the group’s disbandment, she pursued a solo career. In 2023, her viral performance at the Waterbomb Festival transformed her career trajectory. She later revealed that her income surged following the event, enabling her to purchase a 2.4 billion won ($1.8 million USD) building in March 2024.

Kwon Eunbi remained a highlight at Waterbomb Seoul, performing hits like Crazy in Love and Rumor alongside eye-catching choreography and bold stage outfits. Her performances consistently trend across social media, with fan-cam clips generating tens of millions of views.

While her viral festival performances catapulted her to mainstream popularity, they also generated public debate regarding stage attire. Supporters have defended her, emphasizing that Waterbomb is an adult-oriented water festival where summer festival fashion is standard, while calling out gender double standards regarding performance costumes.
