Rapper Yang Hong Won deleted wedding photos taken with his wife Won Hyun Joo from social media about two weeks after their wedding ceremony, but remaining photos of his wife are drawing public attention.
As of November 4, posts containing wedding photos taken with Won Hyun Joo can no longer be found on Yang Hong Won’s personal social media account.
After previously removing the caption that read, “Hyun-joo, I love you, I still feel like I’m walking into a Cheonho-dong motel,” which accompanied the wedding photos, he subsequently deleted the post containing the photos altogether.
Won Hyun Joo also halted her social media activity after the affair allegations against Yang Hong Won were raised, wiping all of her existing posts as well. The two have also unfollowed each other’s accounts.
Yang Hong Won’s side has offered no specific explanation regarding the reason behind taking down the wedding photos. However, not all traces related to Won Hyun Joo have vanished. On Yang Hong Won’s account, a post featuring Won Hyun Joo ahead of their wedding pictorial shoot in September remains up.
The photo was made public while the couple was preparing for their wedding, and Won Hyun Joo left a comment on the post saying, “Thank you, honey,” adding a heart emoji to express her affection for her husband.
Although the two displayed a sweet atmosphere just a short while ago, the lingering traces of the past feel bitter as current allegations unfold alongside their recent social media moves.
Yang Hong Won and Won Hyun Joo registered their marriage in 2023 after dating for eight years and welcomed a daughter in 2024.
On October 18, they held a wedding ceremony to officially tie the knot. However, just five days after the wedding on October 23, controversy erupted when accuser A raised affair allegations against Yang Hong Won, claiming he accompanied another woman to a motel.
In response, his agency AP Alchemy acknowledged that Yang Hong Won went to a motel with the woman in question. However, they refuted the allegations by explaining that an intoxicated Yang Hong Won merely visited the motel to find a place to sleep, and that no inappropriate physical contact or romantic behavior occurred inside the room.
Furthermore, the agency claimed that the materials released by the accuser were maliciously edited. They also announced that Yang Hong Won and the woman have separately filed lawsuits against A on charges of extortion, violation of the Stalking Punishment Act, and defamation by stating false facts.
